The liberation service is a band which wants to get paid with hugs and I must say that besides hugs they will receive lot of applauses and thumbs up. Despite the low budget to record their first release which was recorded in a friend´s basement these lads really created a nice sound, the variety of instruments the sing-a-longs they have in their songs is a plus.

My first thoughts about the band were: Ok they are fine another Indie rock/folk band but as I heard the rest of the songs they blended those genres plus a pop punk really enjoyable, The violins, acoustic guitars and the harmonica made me think about influences like Frank turner, Flogging molly, Weezer ,maybe some Balkan influences once in a while.

The demo consists in 4 songs and one Frank Turner cover song: Wake up call, silly thing, theater light and lonely travelling boy. And to conclude I give this guys a big wow and to the readers try to catch this guys on tour is really a new found promise for the Austrian scene.
